Black & White

I love things that are black and white. I am always drawn to the contrast of black and white. Whether it's a kitchen floor or the "little black dress." You'll see a lot more of this signature style from me in the future.

Flowers

The look and feel of things vintage or old world always inspires me. I'm a softy for pale pink roses any time.

The Chair

What is it about chairs? I've sold almost every chair I've ever painted. Maybe it's because they are so universal. They are inviting, they hold us, they create a place of comfort and reflection. Like and old friend, dependable and always there. I'm feel a new line of chair paintings coming on. If you have a unique chair you like, please send a photo my way to inspire me.

Color Washes

These abstract color washes were painted as a request by my client. I used Golden Acrylic paints with a molding paste for added texture. I love mixing colors and creating new palettes. Click on the painting to get a better look close up, if you would like!

The Lily Pads

I am one to always go by "feel"... the deep sea sea greens and blues are so peaceful and serene to me... and create a "feel" of peacefulness and tranquility. This is the type of painting I believe one should have in their room, or above their bath tub. I painted this for a "spa like" bathroom. My client said, "it worked" : )

Kitchen Still Life

These vegetable kitchen accent paintings were a lot of fun. I used lots of thick oil paint with a palette knife for the most part. I loved working with the client, along with the warm color scheme throughout the home.

Desert Home Project

I have been fortunate to live in some amazing places… like Carmel and Laguna Beach California… now in New York City! I also have been able to paint in some wonderful places too. Recently, I was commissioned to paint for a Parade of Home show out in the desert of Southern Utah. I painted landscapes, still life and even murals of Kachina Indians that were indigenous to the area.  This particular home was in a gorgeous setting and I felt privileged to be able to paint there. Pictured below are some of the results that came from my 3-week experience in this beautiful desert location.
